In this section you can find all the official Alain Caron DVD published since 1992, both with Le Band and with Uzeb
With Le Band at the moment there are two DVDs: the first is Live 5, registered at the Cabaret de Montréal and published in 2006. In this concert Alain Caron almost faithfully reproduces the playlist on “5” released in 2003, to which he adds some of his most enduring masterpieces, such as D-Code (from “Play”) and “Slam The Clown” (from “Rhythm’n Jazz”).
With Live 5 Cabaret de Montréal Alain Caron enters in to the discovery of electronic music through the use of fascinating electronic and loop sounds, achieving a perfect balance with the live musicians, including jazz and traditional urban-music, creating what he callsElectro-Fusion Jazz.
The second DVD refers instead to a concert that comes from a long tour of more than two years in which Alain Caron has carried around his last two studio works (Multiple Faces in 2013 and Sep7entrion in 2010) together with a band completely renewed compared to the past which sees John Roney on keyboards, Pierre Cotè on guitar and Damien Schmitt on drums.
With Uzeb instead is available on DVD The Last Concert, released in 1992 and recorded in front of thousands of people crowded in Wilfrid-Pelletier Hall of the Places des Arts on July 6, 1991, on the occasion of the 12th International Jazz Festival de Montréal, to attend what has so far been the last concert of the Canadian supergroup.
